Description

The reports contain suggestions to achieve the goal of “faster and more inclusive growth”. It discusses land reform, farmers suicides, food security, and much more. There is a section on the third page titled 'Competitiveness of Farmers' which advocates for expanding the scope of the Minimum Support Price to crops other than paddy and wheat, and ensuring that the MSP is at least 50% more than the weighted average cost of production. This report has been regularly cited by the farmers protesting against the farm bills in 2020.
